Effective date: 2026-04-21  |  Last updated: 2026-04-21

Program name: NeuralConfig Transactional Messaging

Operator: NeuralConfig LLC (Raleigh, NC) — operates StrandCalls (AI voice agent) and NeuralRepo (developer service).

1. What messages we send

Recipients of NeuralConfig SMS receive one or more of the following, tied to their own interaction with a NeuralConfig service. These are the literal templates our system sends — variables in {curly braces} are filled in per message.

Sample 1 — Appointment confirmation (StrandCalls)

Your appointment with {business_name} is confirmed for {date} at {time}{address}. Manage: strandcalls.com/my/{code} Reply CANCEL to cancel, STOP to opt out.

Sample 2 — Appointment reminder (StrandCalls, sent 20–28 hours before)

Reminder: Your appointment with {business_name} is tomorrow at {time}. Reply CONFIRM to confirm or RESCHEDULE to reschedule.

Sample 3 — In-call text (StrandCalls, agent-initiated only when the caller requests it)

Thanks for calling {business_name}! We've scheduled your service visit for {date} at {time}. Questions? Call us at {business_phone}.

Sample 4 — Post-call summary (StrandCalls)

Here are the details from your call with {business_name}: {summary}. Our address is {address}.

Sample 5 — Login verification code (NeuralRepo and other NeuralConfig web apps)

Your NeuralConfig verification code is {code}. This code expires in 10 minutes. If you did not request this, ignore this message.

All outbound messages are transactional and tied to an explicit recipient action (a phone call to a StrandCalls customer, or a login attempt on a NeuralConfig web app). NeuralConfig does not send marketing SMS, newsletters, promotional codes, cross-sell, or any recurring unprompted content.

2. Message frequency

Message frequency varies by recipient interaction. Typical volumes per recipient:

  • Per appointment booked via StrandCalls: 1 confirmation (immediately) + 1 reminder (the day before) = ~2 messages over 1–2 days.
  • Per login to a NeuralConfig web app: 1 verification code (only if the user requested SMS-based verification).
  • Per in-call request for a text: 1 message, only when the caller asks the voice agent to send one.

No recurring or scheduled messages beyond what is listed above. No automated "drip" sequences.

3. How recipients opt in

Consent is captured before any SMS is sent, through one of two methods:

3.1 Verbal consent during a StrandCalls voice call

When a caller reaches a business using StrandCalls and gets routed to our AI voice agent, the agent recites the following disclosure before booking any appointment that would result in SMS. The disclosure is part of the system prompt used by every SMS-enabled StrandCalls agent:

I'll text you a confirmation now and a reminder the day before. Messages come from {business_name}. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to opt out. Is that okay?

The agent waits for an explicit "yes" (or equivalent) before calling the booking function. If the caller declines, the appointment is still booked but the SMS flag is set to "NO SMS — caller declined" in the notes, and no messages are sent. The call is recorded (with a separate recording disclosure at the start of the call) — the recording is retained as consent evidence.

3.2 Web consent at signup (NeuralConfig web apps)

When a user signs up for NeuralRepo or any NeuralConfig web application that offers SMS-based login verification, a phone-number field appears with the following consent checkbox directly beside it. The checkbox is unchecked by default; the user must affirmatively check it to enable SMS.

I agree to receive transactional SMS from NeuralConfig at the phone number above, including login verification codes and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See Terms and Privacy.

The consent state is stored per-user with a timestamp. Users can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, by emailing support@neuralconfig.com, or via their account settings.

4. How to opt out — STOP and HELP

Reply STOP to any message from NeuralConfig to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation that you have been opted out, and no further messages will be sent to that number.

Reply HELP to any message for support information, or email support@neuralconfig.com.

Opt-out is honored at the carrier level (handled by Twilio) and is immediate. The accepted opt-out keywords include STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, and OPTOUT. To resubscribe, reply START.

5. Message & data rates

Message and data rates may apply. NeuralConfig does not charge recipients for SMS — standard carrier rates apply, depending on your plan with your mobile carrier.

6. Supported carriers

Major U.S. carriers are supported (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and their MVNOs). Delivery through other carriers is best-effort and not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Data handling and privacy

Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only for the transactional messages described on this page. NeuralConfig does not sell phone numbers, does not share them with third parties for marketing, and does not use them for any program beyond the one described here. SMS message content, delivery metadata, and opt-in/opt-out status are retained per our Privacy Policy SMS section. Full program terms: Terms — Messaging.
